Therapy to help you feel better, think clearer, and reclaim your self-worth

Re-wire your relationship with food, body, and yourself

You’re tired of repeating the same vicious cycle, but don’t know how to stop.

If you're feeling stuck in cycles of control, guilt, or constant self-criticism, you’re not alone. I can help you build a healthier relationship with food, your body, and ultimately with yourself.

Like you’re doomed to keep re-living this pattern, and it feels like there’s no way out.

You’re upset about the way you look or how you feel in your body, so…

  • You embark on yet another diet

  • You’re constantly thinking about food because you’re counting calories or restricting what you’re “allowed” to eat

  • You find yourself binge eating or eating your feelings when you hit a bump in the road

  • You hear yourself saying “I’ll start again on Monday” again… and again… and again

Hi, I’m Sue, and I get it.

Struggles with food are so hard to face. Food is something that you can’t avoid - we need to eat to live. Having a strained relationship with food and/or your body is exhausting, and comes with real, lasting impacts.

Clients often come to me, being experts in nutrition themselves. They’ve tried every diet imaginable, from 20/80 to keto to whole 30 and more, they can tell me how many calories are in nearly any type food, and yet their relationship with food and body image is still fractured.

Nothing has helped yet, and they’re ready to give up.

I’ve spent the better part of 20 years working with food, nutrition, health, and counselling. I’m not afraid to talk about the uncomfortable and real topics that get in the way of being comfortable in your own skin; trauma, sex, power, body image, shame, guilt, and more.

I show up as my authentic self in each session, because it’s key to being able to trust, relate to and feel safe with your therapist. I’m not for everyone, but I just might be for you.

You might be here because food feels like a battle—whether you’re eating too much, too little, or just constantly thinking about it.

Maybe your self-worth is tied to how you look, how much you achieve, or whether you’re “in control.” Or perhaps you’re just tired of the guilt, the comparison, and the voice in your head that says, “I’m not enough.”

You don’t need to face this alone. Therapy can help you understand where these patterns come from—and begin to shift them.

I specialise in therapy for:

  • Emotional eating, bingeing, or food guilt

  • Body shame, comparison, and self-criticism

  • Chronic dieting or disordered eating patterns

  • Low self-esteem and perfectionism

  • Anxiety, depression, and mood linked to food or self-image
